Improve your judgement by disciplining yourself to consider the fundamentatls:
- Take time to think things through, Whenever you're faced with a problem, control the impulse to rush headlong into action. Reason things out first. Try to forsee how things might turn out.
- For each possible solution list the possible good, and bad, the costs, the risks, problems and objections that could arise.
- Be objective, look at the facts.
- Keep your preconceptions, prejudices and personal dislikes out of it. try to visualize the reactions of other people
if you were in their shoes, what would you think was the wisest thing to do
- Face the fact that criticism is inevitable
